In a word, SuccessFactors is quality. They are a very strong vendor, with an excellent product. However, we do have some concerns in areas that SuccessFactors wouldn’t answer questions. Read on for further details…
SuccessFactors is a comprehensive Human Capital Management suite, including Employee Profile, Goal Management, Performance Management, 360 Reviews, Social, Compensation Planning, and Recruitment.
Before you choose SuccessFactors, here are the key things you need to know.
First, SuccessFactors is the market leader. They have a market leading product, a huge share of the market, are on many companies’ shortlist, and often win competitive bids.
Second, SuccessFactors does have great security. While they don’t have ISO 27001 certification, SuccessFactors do comply with a number of other related standards which are roughly equivalent. Compared to other cloud providers, SuccessFactors have particularly strong security separating data between customers.
Third, SuccessFactors have a good track record of delivery, across many different projects. We’ve found other customers have been very pleased with the results.
There was some security information that we weren’t able to get from SuccessFactors without signing an NDA (meaning we couldn’t post the review details here). As with any I recommend you get an independent assessment of SuccessFactors, to confirm it is right for you.
