In a phrase, Peoplefluent is a strong talent management solution. They provide good functionality for larger businesses.

Peoplefluent contains the talent management functionality you need to attract, retain and develop staff - recruitment/onboarding, learning management, performance management, succession planning, social collaboration, workforce planning/analytics, vendor management, compliance and diversity.

Before you choose Peoplefluent, here are the key things you need to know.

First, their strength in recruitment. Peoplefluent provide good recruitment and onboarding functionality, which is one of their flagship modules. It is widely used by a number of Fortune 100 organisations, and integrates well with social media.

Second, Peoplefluent is delivered as Software-as-a-Service, and this has some implications. While I highly recommend cloud offerings, for enterprise-grade solutions a vendor has a large responsibility. Compared to other market leaders (like Successfactors and Workday), Peoplefluent disclose little information publicly about their SLAs, security measures, and history of downtime. I would like to see more public information, and in particularly independent audits of security against industry standards like ISO27001. We’re aware of SAS 70 Level II audits - which show a good corporate environment, but are not a guarantee of security.

Third, be aware that Peoplefluent has formed from multiple different solutions. Through mergers and acquisitions, it includes Peopleclick (recruitment and talent management), Authoria (recruitment and talent management), Acquire Solutions (for workforce planning and analytics), Strategia (for learning management), Criterion (for compliance), and Socialtext (for social enterprise functionality).

Finally, I like Peoplefluent as an organisation. They are active in the human capital management industry, and engage well with their customers. Particularly if you are based in North America, you should find Peoplefluent a good organisation to work with.

If you’re in a medium/large organisation looking for a recruitment solution, with perhaps some additional talent management functionality, I recommend you put Peoplefluent on your shortlist.
