We reviewed over 50 recruitment software packages that help you post jobs, track applicants, conduct interviews, and bring the right person onboard.
Our independent review for recruitment software selected Oracle Talent Cloud (Taleo) as the best option, because of its leading recruitment functionality, strong track record globally, investment and support behind the application. Taleo has an excellent customer-base with good case studies and reference sites.
However, every organisation is different. I recommend you review, at a minimum, our recruitment software shortlist before choosing a vendor. Read on for more information…
We’ve reviewed the dozens and dozens of different recruitment solutions on the market, for medium and large enterprises. This shortlist is the best-of-the-best - enterprise-grade solutions that are proven, well-maintained, and being actively developed. Also, see the full list of recruitment vendors…
I recommend that you review recruitment software in two stages. First, a feature review to make sure the software does what you need it to. Secondly, a review of how the software will integrate with your people, processes and technology.
We really like iCIMS, because of its great track record, strong security and behind-the-scenes performance, and long list of happy customers. Unlike many of the other dedicated recruitment software vendors, iCIMS also provides good onboarding functionality, an addition that I’m really pleased to see.
If you’re in the market for enterprise-grade recruitment software, the others on our shortlist are Bullhorn (comprehensive, and great for specialised recruiters), CATS one (very nice applicant tracking software) and Jobvite (especially for its social features).
If you are a small or mid-sized fast-growing company, also check out Jobscore, Jobscience and and The Resumator.
Talent Management Suites cover a much broader set of functionality than just recruitment - they include the comprehensive features to attract, retain and develop staff. Some Talent Management Suites are also integrated with HR administration, payroll and time/attendance features.
When implementing full talent management suites, you may want to start with only recruitment functionality, and expanding to other modules later. Make sure you review our Talent Management Suites run down, so you know what to look for.
I recommend the following Talent Management Suites, as the best for your shortlist, with good recruitment functionality:
